What tool should I use to measure miter cuts for Baseboard along walls, not 90 degrees?
Now when I tackle the rooms the Pentagon and other strange characters (it's a weird house) I do not know what angle to set the miter when I make my cuts for the corner ends at Baseboard. I guess I have to measure the angle where the walls meet, and then divide it in half? … it is the same procedure for both interior and exterior corners? And what tool should I use to measure the angle? I have a tool I used to draw a line of laminate flooring at an angle, but it gives not a reading in degrees. Thank you!
They sell angle finders on Menard, Home Depot and Lowes in the tools section. I have never personally used, but I've never had to cut strange angles. Only 45's and 90's. They sell for about $ 10.
